SmartOnFHIR (Substitutable Medical Applications, Reusable Technologies) is set of standards for creating substitutable apps that can launch and run anywhere within SmartOnFHIR ecosystem.

Move Interoperability from API to Application Level – This is a framework for users to switch to the most appropriate application without functional impact.  

Allows users to access third-party built application but accessing the data from my application, and vice versa. It brings together a suite of business functionalities contributed from different applications developed by different IT players.

Gen AI and RAG – With the FHIR data structure enabling a web of inter-linked information, it unlocks tremendous potential of the data, unlocks an array of possibilities for the healthcare industry with GenAI. Within Synapxe, we are also exploring AWS LLM services to ingest FHIR data into LLM to try out RAG.
